HYDERABAD: The state govt is committed to driving growth in the building and construction sector across Hyderabad and the entire state, said irrigation and civil supplies minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
During his address at the Cyberabad Builders Association (CBA)’s annual celebration, the minister called upon builders to contribute to Hyderabad’s progress.
He emphasised that their administration significantly invested in the city’s infrastructure development, including Shamshabad airport, ORR, and Krishna-Godavari water diversion projects, with the aim of transforming Hyderabad into a technology hub comparable to Silicon Valley.
Industry leaders acknowledged the city’s booming commercial real estate, stating that Hyderabad registered an increase in property registrations in 2024 compared to 2023. The city also witnessed a rise in office space transactions during the past five years.
Regarding retail real estate, high street locations dominated the market, while suburban retail corridors such as Kothapet, Nallagandla, and Kompally witnessed strong leasing traction. Jubilee Hills emerged as a key contributor in overall transactions.
