CHHAPRA: Saran district set a record by collecting record revenue through registration of lands.
The district collected over Rs 200 crore revenue this fiscal. A district administration official said the district received Rs 210.98 crore in 2024-25, which was Rs 37 crore more than revenue collected last fiscal.
He said the Sadar land registration office at Chhapra topped the list by collection Rs 100.12 crore, followed by Sonepur (Rs 32.57 crore), Ekma (Rs 25.35 crore), Masrakh (Rs 20.24 crore), Parsa (Rs 16.64 crore), and Marhaura (Rs 16.06 crore).
The official said a total of 55,034 deeds were registered in 2024-25 against the total of 46,791 deeds registered in the previous financial year.
