LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will begin registration for 2,502 residential flats under its Vishram Nagar Housing Scheme located in Kabir Nagar, Devpur Para, from June.
These units are being developed in the EWS (economically weaker section), LIG (low income group), and MMIG (middle-middle income group) categories.
LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar conducted a review meeting with engineering and planning officials on Monday and directed that all civil, electrical and infrastructural work be completed by May end to meet the rollout schedule.
Under the new phase of Vishram Nagar, 1,832 EWS units (30–32 sqm), 214 LIG units (around 45 sqm), and 456 MMIG flats (approximately 55 sqm) are under construction.
According to the LDA, each residential cluster will have essential services, including internal roads, drainage, water supply, electricity and waste management systems. Additionally, space has been allocated for community parks, an open-air gym and limited commercial facilities to meet daily needs. Provisions for parking and common areas have also been made.
Kumar said: “Quality checks are being conducted at each stage of construction to ensure structural safety and durability.”
