KALYAN: The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) once again took major action against several illegal constructions in the Titwala area.
Under this action, KDMC demolished two illegal houses on Nadap Road in Titwala, another house in the same area, and two rooms in Shantabai Nagar.
During the action, KDMC faced the ire of people who constructed these illegal structures, but with the help of the police, they controlled the situation and demolished the illegal structures. The operation was carried out with the help of around 20 staff members of KDMC and the local Titwala police.
It may be recalled that out of the 10 wards under the KDMC area, the most illegal constructions were taking place in Ward A at one time. Due to this, Pramod Patil was posted here as a ward officer a few months ago.
After taking charge, Patil took action against hundreds of illegal constructions in the last few months and curbed the illegal constructions in this ward.
