MOHALI: The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (Gmada) will organise a one-day camp at PUDA Bhawan Saturday (Sept 13) to hand over various clearance certificates to allottees, promoters, and developers.
The camp will be held in the meeting hall on the second floor from 9am.
Chief administrator Vishesh Sarangal said Gmada is offering several services to the general public in a seamless and time-bound manner. These include the issuance of conveyance deeds, no dues certificates, permissions for transfer and sale of properties, as well as the sanction of building plans. For promoters and developers, clearances related to projects are being provided.
“The primary purpose of organising this camp is to ease the process for allottees and stakeholders. It will also serve as a platform for people to talk of the issues they face while availing of different services from the offices of Gmada,” Sarangal said. He added that officials from various branches — including the estate office (plots), estate office (housing), district town planner (Gmada), district town planner (regulatory), and other offices concerned — will remain present at the camp to assist applicants and address queries.
Sarangal emphasised that officers have been directed to take note of grievances raised during the camp so that corrective action could be taken. “Regular monitoring is being done to ensure services are delivered efficiently. Through this initiative, we aim to further streamline the system, making it more convenient and satisfactory for applicants,” he said.
The camp is part of Gmada’s broader efforts to improve service delivery, strengthen transparency, and provide quick solutions to the public and stakeholders.
