LUDHIANA: MC Suvidha Kendras will remain open during routine hours on Saturday (Sept 27) and Sunday (Sept 28) to help residents avail 10% rebate on payment of property tax for the current financial year. Residents can avail 10% rebate on payment of property tax for the current financial year (2025-26) till Sept 30.
No penalty will be imposed on payment of tax from Oct 1 to Dec 31 and 10% penalty will be imposed from Jan 1 to March 31. If residents fail to pay property tax for the current financial year by March 31, 20% penalty will be imposed.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur and MC commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal asked residents to pay dues on the MC website, mcludhiana.gov.in, to avoid standing in long queues. They also urged residents to pay taxes on time and avail the rebate.
