NOIDA: Amendments to the Unified Policy, aimed at integrating land norms across the three development authorities, will be among over 35 key proposals up for discussion at the Noida Authority board meeting on Friday.
The meeting, to be chaired by industrial development commissioner and Noida Authority chairman Deepak Kumar, will also discuss setting up a 300 TDP integrated waste management plant and budget allocation for Noida International Airport.
Officials said the Unified Policy aims to integrate land norms across Noida, Greater Noida, and YEIDA, bringing uniformity to allotment and development practices. The board is expected to finalise amendments that will streamline the Unified Policy for Noida Authority’s operations. Key changes include standardising timelines for allotment payments, simplifying procedures for approvals, and resolving inconsistencies across various schemes.
Officials said the revisions will provide clarity on compliance requirements for developers and homebuyers, reduce disputes over allotment deadlines, and improve overall efficiency in project implementation.
Another key proposal is the 300 TDP integrated waste management plant. The facility will process solid waste to generate electricity, produce fertiliser from organic matter, and supply treated water, reducing landfill dependence.
It will also decide on in-situ and ex-situ treatment of wastewater flowing through Noida’s drains, as well as preventive maintenance work for multiple sewage treatment plants (STPs).
