NEW DELHI: Dholera Industrial City Development (DICDL), a greenfield industrial smart city, has held its first land auction for a real estate plot in Dholera SIR. The joint venture of Gap Associates & BMS Projects and SUN Realty Partnership won the bid for 42,241 sq meters land for a 99-year lease.
Base price of the land auction was approximately Rs 17.42 crore (Rs 4,125 per sq meters). Maximum permissible FSI is 5 on this plot as per the GDCR of Dholera SIR.
A senior official of the Dholera SIR said, “A significant 228 acres of land within the SIR region have been dedicated to tourism and recreational activities. This will accelerate the economic development and further boost region’s infrastructure.”
Dholera SIR had issued an e-auction notice of a plot for residential development in town planning scheme 2A in the High Access Corridor Zone for multi-story residential/mixed-use development.
Dholera, which is approximately 100 kms southwest of Ahmedabad, offers unencumbered land parcels of upto 150 hectares and the land allotment can be made in record 17-20 days by DICDL.
Dholera Special Investment Region has been planned over an extensive area of land measuring approximately 920 sq km and encompassing 22 villages of Dholera Taluka in the Ahmedabad district.
