NEW DELHI: Mumbai-based Arkade Developers has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% stake in Filmistan for ₹182.95 crore.
The acquisition will enable the company to develop a four-acre residential project on the site of the Filmistan Studios in Goregaon West.
Amit Jain, chairman and managing director of the company said, “With a focused strategy across the western suburbs, we are actively expanding our footprint in this region with a couple of launches planned in early 2026.”
The planned high-end project, slated for launch in 2026, is expected to generate a gross development value (GDV) of ₹3,000 crore. The proposed development will include two 50-storey towers comprising 3, 4, and 5 BHK apartments and penthouses.
According to regulatory filings, the acquired entity, Filmistan, had a turnover of ₹18.87 lakh and a net worth of ₹5.54 lakh as of FY24.
Arkade Developers’ acquisition is part of its larger strategy to scale up its presence in the luxury housing space.
