VARANASI: The Varanasi Development Authority (VDA) allocated 82 houses under the Prime Minister’s Housing scheme on Wednesday. The allocation was completed through a lottery process held at Girija Devi Cultural Complex, Chowkaghat.
In this lottery organised by the authority, 82 houses located in villages of Harhua and Kurhua areas were transparently allocated among a total of 642 beneficiaries. The entire proceedings were conducted in the presence of the beneficiaries, ensuring the fairness and transparency of the process.
VDA Vice-Chairman Pulkit Garg, additional district magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Vandita Srivastava, secretary Ved Prakash Mishra and District Urban Development Agency(DUDA) project dfficer Nidhi Vajpayee were present.
