LUCKNOW: Through its latest e-auction, LDA sold property worth over Rs 300 crore.
Two plots for schools, of 3,500 sqm in Sector-N of the Basantkunj scheme, sold for Rs 14 crore each for private schools to come up on, providing education in Basantkunj and nearby housing colonies under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A commercial plot in Central Business District, worth Rs 51 crore, fetched Rs 76 crore.
A 288 sqm plot in Sector-4 of Gomtinagar Extension, reserved at Rs 95 lakh, sold for Rs 2.76 crore. A 4 BHK flat in Saryu Apartment, valued at Rs 1.17 crore, went for Rs 1.73 crore. Six plots of Transportnagar scheme, auctioned first time, saw 25–30 percent higher bids than reserve price. TNN
LDA vice chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said, “The properties were publicised widely and site visits were arranged, which drew more participation from buyers.” He added that allotment letters would soon be issued and project clearances will be handled under the single-window system.
Additional secretary Gyanendra Verma confirmed 50 properties were sold in the auction. Officials said strong response showed growing investor interest in residential and commercial development across Lucknow.
