Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority announces creation of seven new Town Planning Schemes, ETRealty

AHMEDABAD: In the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (Auda) board meeting held on Tuesday, a decision was made to create seven new Town Planning (TP) Schemes in the villages surrounding the city.

Auda announced that as Ahmedabad prepares to host the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games, it has decided to create seven new TP schemes to ensure that the surrounding satellite areas develop quickly and in a systematic manner.

The above-mentioned new TP schemes are planned to be developed in the villages of Saij, Godhavi, Kaneti, Nidhrad, and Manipur, which are included in the Auda area. The creation of the new TP Schemes will lead to the urbanisation of approximately 1,000 hectares in the aforementioned areas. It will make plots available for the development of infrastructure facilities and allow for the construction of new roads.
